You're making excellent points here, Alan.
I only have one child but I can relate to everything you mentioned.
And I think it's because both successful parenting and leadership come down to relationship good practices. It's a neverending work of listening to understand, accepting even when we disagree, and being supportive when we could be bossy.
Children and employees are humans and they need us to recognize them for what they are, before anything else.
Sounds simple... in theory, right? 😊
