Despite the learnings acquired through this practice, there are still many days where I find myself brooding over what is gone or filling my heart with anxiety over what is yet to come. I’ve also had periods of unhappiness and profound dissatisfaction.
This post of yours really stroke a chord in me, Fatimah. I've recently witnessed the loss of a loved one, and memento mori has been my mantra for the past few weeks. But so more often, it's so much easier to let the trivial, mundane things keep us prisoners of useless bitter feelings :(
