We've all lived Carol Burnett's famous quote — "adolescence is just one big walking pimple".

And even well into adulthood, we've occasionally woke up with that big red pimple on the tip of the nose, right before a significant event.

Pimples can be a frustrating reality long into adulthood. The American Academy of Dermatology says that:

Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting up to 50 million Americans annually.

Acne can occur at any stage of life and may continue into one’s 30s and 40s.

Acne occurring in adults is increasing, affecting up to 15 percent of women.

Would you love to say "In your face!" to the pimples on your face?

If you're not suffering from severe acne, but rather the occasional blemishes and nosy pimples that pop on your nose, cheeks, or forehead when you expect the least, you might want to hear of Mighty Patch.

The product that sells every 15 seconds in the U.S.

According to Exploding Topics, a pack of Mighty Patch bandages is sold every 15 seconds in the U.S.

The same newsletter that I got from them said that Mighty Patch ranks 3rd in Amazon's Best Sellers in Beauty & Personal Care. I checked and, what do you know, it already made it to the 2nd place by the time I got to it:

To cut the suspense, these Mighty Patchs are hydrocolloid strips that seem to work wonders on white pimples.

It's because hydrocolloid is a natural gel with excellent fluid-absorbing properties. When placed on a pimple, it absorbs all of its gunk. It doesn't hurt the skin and even allows it to heal faster.

As suggested, it's miraculous for the poppable whiteheads, not for the blackheads or the painful cystic acne.

From the nearly 75,000 users who rated it on Amazon, most of them are thrilled. However, I did come across one less fortunate lady who ended up with a giant burn mark on her face! It's right there in the reviews section.

So, a valuable reminder that, even though it's an off-the-counter product, one should always seek medical advice before using it!
