Thank you so much, Alexainie, for the great reminder you've given!
Your message came on a particularly rough morning in our home.
One when our toddler wanted to stay on top of everything, and really pushed all our buttons at once.
We were in a hurry. We were on our auto-pilot. We were just trying to get through the breakfast so we can move on with our day.
I guess it was one of those mornings we were trying to keep him apart and he insisted to be a part of it all.
Our child wanted to remind us that there's also a different way of doing things.
And you've reminded me I'm supposed to hear him out more often. Slow down. And nurture his love of helping, doing, being involved in all the aspects of our family life.
