Mine aren't objects per se...
The first two that come to my mind are sleeping (absolutely every struggle I might have, I get to see it in a different light after I sleep) and music.
I, too, used to listen to music at night as a child, a small radio with the volume turned so low that I had to keep it on my pillow, next to my ear.
I'm saying music and not radio because I'm willing to use anything that brings music to my life.
