I've been experiencing with photography on and off for some years, Kim. First, as an adolescent with a camera, then as a journalist student, and finally, as a mother with a very special photography subject - my son. Yet I've never thought about transferring these basic photography principles into everyday life. I'm surprised by their power when I look at it through the lens you suggested. They're definitely fabulous and I can apply them even to my often gray everyday life, not just to travel!
