I'm with you, Deborah! One of the hardest things for me as a parent is to watch my child being in uncomfortable situations and trying not to step in. Most of the time, I manage to refrain; sometimes, just like you, I have to step up. It's a dance we're learning on the go... So sorry to hear about your little girl having troubles because of her braided hair. I love braided hair, but kids can be so mean sometimes!
