If I may add, commenting is an excellent way of:

1.Showing the writer that you did put in the time and read their work;

2.Make you visible in front of other readers of the same writer; meaningful comments do get noticed and your Views/Reads stats also include the stats for your comments, even though those aren't paid reads.
