I love this suggestion, and I haven't thought about it. Sites and TV shows for kids should make it more manageable.

I was surprised to learn that children under 8 should not be exposed at all to the war news if possible. The smaller the child, the more we should avoid the subject if they aren't exposed to it. Obviously, if they hear about it, we, parents, should be the ones to provide them with reliable information and reassuring answers. But if they don't hear about it, it's best to protect them from hearing.
