I haven't overcome the fear to become a parent and I don't think I ever will. I am at the point where I consider that taking responsibility for growing only one human being is the most I can do. And I learn to live with the fear. It's part of being a parent. There are just too many things to be afraid of, and so, you have to put it in the backburner.

What do I do to become a better parent? I try to educate myself. To get to know myself so I know where I must work more. And to get to know my child - how his mind works and what he's capable of at his current age.

And I try to get rest and carve time that I can spend with him uninterrupted of unnecessary worries. I found I'm a better parent when I'm well rested. And that a lot of time can be saved when I stick to the essentials of living.
