I guess it's only when you come to peace with yourself that you start shinning and begin to attract the right people in your life. Your friend was right - focus on making the most of your life and if the opportunity to share it all with someone will come along, you'll be ready for it. Meanwhile, working to become the best version of yourself is the best thing you can do. And you can only do that in the real world, away from the screen. Good for you that you've taken the plunge and made this change for 2021 :D
