Hmmm, I guess I would still do it because:

1. I love the flexibility of it far too much.

2. I appreciate arranging my schedule around my son's schedule rather than giving him what's left of me at the end of a workday.

3. Where I live, if it weren't for the pandemic and we'd all be working in the offices, it would still take me 2.5-3h a day of commute.

Of course, all these don't need to apply to anyone.

It also matters if you're an extrovert who thrives in the company of others rather than an introvert who loves parties of one with a book under a blanket (of which I am guilty as charged) :D
