They say intermittent fasting can make your body lose weight fast. They all act as if it’s the latest scientific discovery when, in fact, the strategy could really use a bit more scientific backup.

If you’re a chronic dieter desperate for actual results, or a fitness enthusiast aiming to push your body a step further, you may be really interested in this alternative to calorie-restricted diets.

Intermittent fasting should not put you into starvation mode

Contrary to what you may believe, this strategy doesn’t imply starving yourself to death but rather becoming more conscious about your meals schedule. Strategically planning your meals, rather than eating just because you can.
