Excellent points! School safety matters and everyone can and should contribute to it.

The problem is, until gun control legislation will become more severe, parents, children, teachers and principles can only work on... minimizing the damages.

And that's just heartbreaking, to know that no matter how much you do, no matter if you do everything you can, you're still at the mercy of chance. :(
