All right. So, a parent cannot teach their children anything they aren't already doing for themselves because children learn from imitation. At the same time, I believe every parent goes through a period in their children's early childhood when they must put everything on hold and just be there for their little ones. Without a solid attachment foundation, there will be no parent-child relationship strong enough that the child will want to follow the model their parent provides.
